PROGRAMS
The Center for the Gifted and Talented
Native Hawaiian Children, provides increased educational enrichment
opportunities for gifted and talented Hawaiian children. This is
accomplished through several avenues:
- Design models and conduct
demonstration programs. To serve as a basis for
research.
- Access gifted Hawaiian students to
exemplary gifted and talented programs already in operation and
which parallel the Center's goals.
- Provide enrichment or accelerated
activities that are responsive to the program needs of gifted and
talented Hawaiian children.
- Develop and conduct academic
programs which enhance high aspirations and achievement of
Hawaiian students.
